More About
Terence Witt:

After serving three years in the United States Infantry, the last year of which was assigned to military intelligence, Mr. Witt attended and graduated from Oregon State University at the top of his class, earning a BS in Electrical and Computer engineering.

His professional career began as a semiconductor engineer where he held engineering awards for new techniques he developed for submicron electron beam lithography. Encouraged by a cardiologist friend, Terry jumped careers and founded Witt Biomedical in 1992, which quickly grew into a company worth $140MM!  During Terry’s tenure as CEO, Witt Biomedical became a world leader in the medical software industry, setting the gold standard for cardiac hemodynamic software.

Largely due to consolidation in the healthcare industry, Mr. Witt sold Witt Biomedical to Phillips Medical Systems in 2006. At the time of this sale, Witt Biomedical had an installed base of over a thousand systems throughout the world, and was used in most of the major cardiac centers in the United States. Following the sale of his company, Mr. Witt has pursued an eclectic variety of new endeavors, from earning his instrument rating as a private pilot to publishing a book on theoretical physics.

He lives in Florida with his wife Ginny.
